Located in the picturesque hamlet of High Catton, the cottage provides the perfect rural retreat and an excellent base for exploring Yorkshire towns and countryside.
With stripped pine floors throughout, it has a clean and open feel. In winter the open fire and wood-burner provide a cosy and homely warmth.
The living-room is spacious and light, with two large sofas, an open fire, a smart TV, DVD player and an extensive selection of DVDs.
The dining-room has its own wood-burner, an unusual stained glass window, a circular table with ample seating for five and, being open plan with the kitchen, provides a convenient and sociable area for meals with family and friends.
The kitchen itself is spacious and well-equipped. It, too, has a large table and chairs, an alternative dining area for a snack or breakfast perhaps.
Off the kitchen is the utility room where the fridge/freezer resides, along with the washing machine, boiler, ironing board, high chair and assorted cleaning equipment etc.
The west-facing conservatory has comfortable seating for five and is centrally heated so you can sit and relax there any time of day and at all times of the year. A perfect place to sit and chill with a glass of wine and read a book.
